Join us October 24, 7:00 PM, for an evening with Jane Denny, an authority on the Holocaust, genocide and human rights issues. Professor Denny will explain how authoritarian regimes in the past took advantage of difficult political, social and economic environments to encroach on civil and human rights, and she will draw parallels with what is occurring in our world today.
Jane Denny is a scholar and educational consultant. She is currently an adjunct professor at Stockton University and Brookdale Community College. Denny is the former Director of Education at the Center for Holocaust, Human Rights and Genocide Education (Chhange) at Brookdale Community College, and former faculty member at Rumson Country Day School. She is a board member of Holiday Express and STEAMpark (an organization offering STEM enrichment opportunities to children in under-served communities) and is involved with other organizations striving to make the world a better place.
Join us for an important discussion, share your ideas and leave with the unwavering commitment to stay informed and participate in the democratic process. This event is jointly sponsored by the Democratic Party clubs in Shrewsbury, Little Silver, and Fair Haven, New Jersey.
Light refreshments will be served.
