U.S. Naval Academy graduate, Navy helicopter pilot, former federal prosecutor, wife, and mother of four kids – Mikie Sherrill proudly serves New Jersey in Congress and is running for governor to make life easier and more affordable for Garden State families. Her career has been defined by service to her country and New Jersey.
Dr. Dale Caldwell has spent his life serving New Jersey, including leadership roles in the public sector, private sector, and higher education. He currently serves as the President of Centenary University. He formerly served as the executive director of the Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Fairleigh Dickinson University, President of the Educational Services Commission (ESCNJ), Deputy Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), founding executive director of the Newark Alliance and senior manager at Deloitte Consulting. He volunteered on the New Brunswick school board for 26 years, serving as president for six.

Janine G. Bauer is an environmental attorney, former prosecutor, and lifelong Democrat running for State Assembly in New Jersey’s 10th Legislative District, covering shore towns from Spring Lake to South Toms River. Backed by the Monmouth and Ocean County Democratic Committees, she brings local and county government experience, and served from 2020-2025 on the Gateway Development, overseeing a major infrastructure project under the Hudson River. Janine’s background in securing federal and state funding for environmental and transportation projects positions her to address the challenges shore towns face from sea level rise. Her priorities include lowering electricity and drug costs, reducing property taxes, fully funding schools, protecting water and ocean quality, and ensuring polluters—not taxpayers—fund future resiliency efforts.
Gigi Esparza is a proven community leader dedicated to putting families first. A former mayor and experienced school board member, she has championed transparency, fiscal responsibility, and strong public schools. She has also been a leader in early childhood education as Chair of the Ocean Inc. Head Start Policy Council and has served her faith community for over a decade as Sunday School Superintendent and Bible Institute teacher.
An 18-year resident of South Toms River, Gigi is raising three children with her husband, Alonso, all of whom attend Toms River schools. She is committed to keeping families and communities at the heart of every decision she makes.

Dr. Margie Donlon, a practicing physician, currently serves as Assemblywoman in Legislative District 11. Formerly Deputy Mayor of Ocean Township, she has won election twice in nine-candidate, non-partisan races, where she earned the support of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike. She has been an advocate in the legislature for open space, shared-services and programs supporting our seniors and veterans. Donlon holds a Masters in Public Health from Yale University and her Medical Degree from the University of Rochester. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. An avid surfer, Margie lives in Ocean Township with her husband Ron and daughters Amalia and Vera.
Luanne Peterpaul, Esq., current Assemblywoman for Legislative District 11 and former County Prosecutor, has tried a number of successful cases against criminals – which includes those who have committed thefts and homicide. Before being elected in 2023, she served as a Municipal Judge for the City of Long Branch and for the City of Asbury Park. She previously served as Chair of the Garden State Equality Action Fund – where she was instrumental in persuading the New Jersey State Legislature to enact bi-partisan Anti-Bullying legislation. In the legislature, Peterpaul has been an advocate for our seniors, veterans, and small businesses. A graduate of Duquesne University, and Seton Hall School of Law, she lives with her wife Robin in Long Branch.

Freshta Taeb is a local mom, business owner, and mental health professional. She has built a diverse and impactful career spanning multiple fields, including media, education, behavioral health, and advocacy for the most vulnerable. Freshta is running for Assembly because she wants to use her skills and background to enact policies that are in the best interest of New Jersey families.

Jason M. Corley, Sr., a proud 1994 graduate of Long Branch High School, is in his 16th year as the district’s Athletic Administrator. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Kean University in Recreational Administration, a Master’s in Education, and another in Educational Leadership. Jason holds a national certification as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) and was recognized as Athletic Director of the Year by Jersey Sporting News (2018), and the Shore Conference of High Schools (2022). In 2022, a national platform, BOUND sports named him “Athletic Director of Influence.” Jason has been honored by the NAACP, 525 Philanthropy Club, Latino American Association of Monmouth County, the City of Long Branch, and has been inducted into the Long Branch High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
Committed to service, Jason served as the President of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association’s Executive Committee (NJSIAA), and is active with the Long Branch NAACP, Boys & Girls Club Advisory Board, Long Branch Elks Club, the Fidelity Lodge #42 F&AM-PHA along with several other local leadership organizations.
Believing in the life-changing impact of education-based athletics, Jason is dedicated to mentoring youth through promoting character, leadership, teamwork, and giving back to the community that shaped him. Now, running for Assembly - Jason is looking to shape the future of Legislative District 13 to become more affordable and improve the quality of life from our Bayshore towns to our Western Municipalities.

Avi Schnall for LD 30

Representing: Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Farmingdale, Howell, Lake Como, Lakewood, Wall
Avi Schnall, born in New York, moved to Lakewood for education at Beth Medrash Govoha. Moved into politics as he saw that the current representative did not reflect and was not for LD30. He has moved bills and brought greater focus to the district since being elected and has plans to add further state investment in future years. His focus has been in improving education for his district, and has met multiple times with the district's teachers and superintendents. But he also wants to improve the infrastructure that needs an overhaul in LD30.
